Sunday

September 21, 2009

Sunday saw the older boys going to a Battle of Britian parade (they are in the Air Training Corps).  The rest of us went to chapel (a smaller and nearer chapel to us, that is a daughter chapel to the larger one we are members of and cleaned yesterday).

After lunch, we (excluding older boys) went for a walk from Ginge, up the to Ridgeway, along it to Scutchemer Knob,  then two more legs to get us back to the car.  Will have to ask David how many miles exactly it was.

Someone has put up a tire swing at Scutchemer Knob.   We were stopping there anyway to have a break, so it was a nice extra diversion for the children.

Onward down the road (towards East Hendred, ‘though we did not go there, but rather turned off to get back to Ginge).
